Abstract Palm plant has been used extensively, as building materials, household appliances, handicrafts, food source, oil sources, bio-energy, medicinal plants, ornamental plants and environmental protection. Palm species (Arecaceae) has highest species diversity in Indonesia so that conservation efforts are needed to the preservation of these species. Purwodadi Botanic Garden as an institution plant conservation ex-situ, particularly in the dry lowland plant that potentially valuable in economic and science. Currently, the Purwodadi Botanic Garden recorded 358 specimens of 93 species Arecaceae collection. Where 12 species have potential as madicine, one of these palm species are rare and unique is Corypha. This study aimed to identify potential Corypha as medicinal plants and the distribution of Corypha in the Purwodadi Botanic Garden. The method is descriptive, based on the literature about its potential and direct observation in the field (garden) on the distribution of Corypha. Corypha known to have medicinal properties such as diarrhea, cough, tuberculosis, dysentery, etc. In Bangladesh seed Corypha contain anti-oxidant ingredients that can help fight the disease and anti-aging in humans.
